  Pull into a city that claims gumbo capital of the world. Tried this spot since it was rated over 4.7 here on Google reviews and close to my hotel. The restaurant seemed clean and that is the only star they get from. They had 2 or 3 paper menus to hand out, no visible board menus. Although they had plenty of other things drawn on them. It took well over ten minutes(wasn't counting) to get my gumbo to go, after my order was placed the vibe in the place was aweful. And when I tried to eat it 15-20 minutes later. It was too hot and certainly not the flavor I was expecting out of a Louisiana city like this or a chain representing New Orleans. Maybe other items or chains shine stronger and I had a bad experience. This is just what happened to me and how I perceived it. Sorry for the bad review. Sorry for the wait 2.

  This is a start up fast food restaurant. I've been here twice. Each time the food was good. While passing by, I have notice more & more people are setting at the tables, inside.

  I gave them SIX stars and took one away because they aren't open on Sunday! I was outside the door like a Crackhead trying to get a fix.
  
  Oysters are HUGE and cooked to perfection! Fish flakey!
  
  All FIVE times in THREE days I went back, they always had it cooked right!
  
  Maaaan, I'm 600 miles away and would drive there just for them... miss those guys.
